PRESS RELEASE - MARCH 16, 2018
For Immediate Release
WASHINGTON STATE HOT ROD HALL OF FAME SEEKS AUTOMOTIVE ARTWORK
Seattle, WA (16 March, 2018) – David Dickinson, Curator
The Washington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame Art Show selection committee is currently seeking automotive artwork for the 2018 international art show raffle to be held during its annual awards banquet.
A variety of art may be contributed for the show. Art is auctioned off and 100% of the proceeds go to our selected charity.
This year, our beneficiary will be the Burned Children Recovery Foundation.
Original artwork, prints of original artwork, photo art, etc. should be no larger than 20”X30” and signed by artist. Other art work, such as sculptures and pinstriped objects should be of a manageable size. Include some marketing materials to display with your work. This would provide great exposure to a pretty high end group of automotive enthusiasts at our annual awards banquet and art show.
The Hall of Fame asks that pinstriping works be presented on objects other that flat panels, but on more creative and unique objects such as bottles, bowling pins, toolboxes, or… how creative can you get?
Please call me at 206-354-8347 to discuss. Thanks in advance.

Remember, we don't know all the wonderful, deserving people in Washington State. Be sure to contact anyone of us with a resume of someone you know who you would like us to consider for our next banquet. This includes car clubs, young rodders, childrens charities, businesses and artists. They don't have to meet all the criteria, just some.

WHAT A NIGHT!!
Thank you to our sponsors, our Emcee Lance Lambert, our audio/video Larry LaBlanc, the attendees, our volunteers, our Board of Directors and the Lynnwood Convention Center.
What a wonderful evening.
We inducted 8 deserving individuals. Marcia Foreman, Ron Foreman, John Flesher, Cliff Holland, Scott Jellison, Robert "Butch" Miller and Terry Scatena.
As we honor our inductees we must also acknowledge the future. We honored a young rodder, Stephen Woomer. We also awarded the Dick Page Memorial Rodder award to Jacob Lusk.
As we look further in the future, the Wahington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame Scholarship program is continuing to grow. This program is really taking off and helping deserving young students with their education in the automotive and related field. We awarded 8 scholarships this year.
Tim's Hot Rods, Tim Stromerger, Spokane WA, was awarded the builder of the year award.
The Interior Award was presented to Corbin Upholstery, Jake Corbin.
Everett Burned Children's Foundation was the charity of the evening. We raised thousands of dollars for them.
The Community Service Award was presented to Joel Starr, Dale Newman and Tony Verhey for continuing the Cruse To Colby car show.
